Within Burj Al-Watan project which is funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development and under the supervision of Welfare association, the staff team – Burj Al-Luqluq concluded the Football tournament (born in 200) at the Jerusalem level with the participation of 12 Jerusalem teams divided into two groups in the full league system, where all the matches were played on BALL land by having two matches played over a month and a half.
The tournament was organized with the aim of giving Jerusalemite youth a space for psychological emptying by practicing their hobby in football, enhancing communication between players, strengthening social relations, and emphasizing the Jerusalemite identity through the participation of Jerusalemite teams in the championship.
During the group matches, the staff team,BALL “A”, and Salwan Al-Maqdisi, qualified from the first group. From the second group, the staff team qualified BALL “B” and the Jabal Al-Zaiton team.
The results were as follows:
First place: BALL Staff A
Second place: Silwan Al-Maqdisi
Third place: Jabal Al-Zaiton
Fourth place: BALL Staff B
The best player from each team was chosen and a cup was awarded as the best player
