Ministry of Education & BALL Holds the Male Volleyball Tournament at Al-Quds University
The Jerusalem Directorate of Education, in cooperation with Burj Al-luluq Social Center Society, held a male volleyball tournament at the main sports hall at Al-Quds University.
The tournament, which was attended by 7 school teams and an average of 80 students, was part of the project of developing school sports in Jerusalem and funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, under the supervision of Taawon (Welfare Association).
The tournament was characterized by cooperation and competition, while the aim of the tournament to raise the level of students participating in sports and promote love, friendship, meet new people and create space for students to entertain, especially for the higher education students.
Commented on the tournament Executive Manager of BALL Muntaser Edkaidek. «This tournament is important because it is targeting the high school students, so there is a great opportunity to entertain, collaborate and refine the sports personality under of these activities.»
Edkaidek pointed out that the success of the BALL society is due to the strength and continued cooperation between the Directorate of Education and BALL for the success of the desired goal that It is one-handed action to develop sports in Jerusalem schools, enhance students› physical abilities and skills in communication and teamwork, and build self-confidence through the sport and the various tournaments.
