CISP President Visits Burj Al-Luqluq

CISP president, Ms. Maura Viezzoli, visited Burj Al-Luqluq Social Center Society on Thursday, 7th November 2019 to learn more about Burj activities especially the ones executed under the “We’re the Change and We Changed – Fostering socio-economic empowerment and protection of vulnerable Palestinian communities in East Jerusalem- Phase II” Project implemented by BALL in partnership with CISP and funded by the European Union. Ms. Maura, accompanied by Chiara Rambaldi and Silvia Cano Diaz from CISP, and Muntaser Edkaidek, Aya Sbitan, Ahmad Khayyat and Saleh Tamimi from Burj Al-Luqluq, was introduced to the staff of Burj and took a short tour around BALL facilities. The group then went for a short tour around the Old City of Jerusalem during which they talked about the challenges in Jerusalem, specifically the Old City.
The visit ended with a nice Palestinian brunch which the group and enjoyed as they completed
their talk about the city.
