Burj Al-Luqlu’s Ceramic Lab Prepares to Graduate the First Group & Receive the New Group of Students
Burj Al-Luqluq’s Ceramic Lab is getting ready for the graduation of the group of students for the year of 2019 – 2020 after finishing the final project, which they already started working on, as they have been receiving intensive training for the past 9 months.
The final project focuses on the production of paintings on ceramic tiles with designs connected to architectural elements exist in the Old City of Jerusalem. The work of drawing fountains, domes and gates have been distributed among the girls, in addition, each of the girls will be 3 sceneries of Jerusalem from different angles.
On the other hand, the ceramic lab received 9 new applicants who took the initial ceramic examination where they were asked to draw a still composition to see their ability to draw still objects. Moreover, they were asked to prepare a free painting so as to touch base on their ability to imagine and create new artistic designs.
The nine applicants were interviewed and evaluated based on the criteria of the training course and it was stressed on the importance of commitment, goals and clear vision.
