Burj al-Luqluq Organized the Second Training Camp for Jerusalem Youth Groups
Burj al-Luqluq social center society organized a youth training camp for Jerusalem youth groups in Jericho Resort Village from 2019/9 / 28-26, where the camp aimed to raise the capabilities of youth groups through a range of practical skills, including: Managing groups, priorities, lobbying and advocacy campaigns.
The training was attended by 25 young men and women from Jerusalem groups: Suna›a Alhaya group, Sanid Youth group, YPEER Education Network group, Albab Alsabe› group, Lesh Mesh Arefin group and Basmet Sshbab group.
Project coordinator Farah Abu Zant said that the Burj al-Luqluq continues its daily work with Jerusalem youth and Jerusalem youth groups in order to raise their abilities and possibilities in the field work and follow-up daily field.
She added that the society aims through the project «Forsa» to give young people a real opportunity to work and social change away from slogans and waste public money through ineffective and formal initiatives.
It is worth mentioning that the training camp was implemented as part of the Forsa Project – the Jerusalem Community Initiatives Project funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and implemented by Burj al-Luqluq society.
