Burj Al-Luqluq Social Center Society launched “The Old City Ascents “Initiative within Burj Al-Watan project with the support of the Arab Fund for Social and Economic Development and supervised by the Welfare.
Burj AL-Luqluq Executive Manager, Muntaser Edkaidek, expressed that this initiative aims to
Enhance the Palestinian identity through preserving the original historical names of Ascents in
Jerusalem
The initiative included a photo of each Ascent alongside with some historical information and a
map.
Edkaidek cleared that the execution of this initiative continued for three months under the
academic supervision of Dr. Youse Natsheh.
