Burj Al-Laqlaq Association Launches «Sports Training Guide» for the schools of Jerusalem
Burj Al-Laqlaq Community Center in the Old City of Jerusalem has launched a sports training guide, which is a key element in the process of orientation and development of Jerusalem students and their athletic abilities in accordance with their commensurate tendencies and trends.
The aim of the guide, which was the result efforts of «Burj Al-Laqlaq» Association in partnership with the Department of Educational Supervision in the Directorate of Education in Jerusalem, as part of the project to develop school sports in Jerusalem schools, aims to provide the means to strengthen and develop the skills and experiences that the teacher has over the years and avoid losing these skills.
The guide targeted the emerging age group ranging from 14-10 years, to become a powerful source in solving the problems in the Games, through a large number of exercises and small games that provide an atmosphere of joy and pleasure. Thus, student become an active person wants to learn more and participate.
In addition sports guide also included training in basketball, volleyball, handball, table tennis and gymnastics.
It is worth mentioning that the sports training guide was implemented by Burj Al-Laqlaq Community Society and the Directorate of Education in Jerusalem and supervised by Al-Taawon Foundation and funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.
