Al-Sa’diyeh Neighbourhood Crowns the Jerusalemite Neighbourhoods Tournament 2016 & Al-Nasarah Neighbourhood Comes Second

Burj Al-Luqluq Social Center Society Organized the Jerusalemite neighbourhoods tournament on Thursday 17^th November 2016, with the participation of four Jerusalemite neighbourhoods; Al-Sa’diyeh, Al-Nasarah, Bab Hutta and Al-Wad neighbourhoods. Around 60 Jerusalemite players participated in the tournament supported by the Jerusalemite businessman Munir Al-Kalouti and supervised by the Welfare Association.

This tournament is the first neighbourhood tournament in 2016 as such tournaments stopped for 10 months. However, after good preparation and the support of the Jerusalemite businessman, Munir Al-Kaluti, this tournament was rearranged because the later believes that it’s important to organize neighbourhood tournaments and sports exchanges among the Jerusalemite and the Palestinian youth in cities and villages in the West Bank.

Burj AL-Luqluq Executive Manager, Muntaser Edkaidek, assured that the Jerusalemite neighbourhood tournament is considered one of the major projects organized by Burj Al-Luqluq in order to enhance the good relations and communication among the Jerusalemite youth from different neighbourhoods of Jerusalem. He added that football has become an international communication language that breaks all the boundaries.

At the end of the tournament, the Head of Burj Al-Luqluq Physical Education Department, Nihad Zughayyier, the Jerusalemite sports-man Mahnoud Al-Salaymeh and the trainer of Al-Nasara neighbourhood team, Elias Al-KArmi, honoured the winning teams.
