Al-Nizamyeh High School Crowns the Champion of the Handball Schools Tournament for Girls
Burj Al-Luqluq Social Center Society and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Jerusalem
organized within the project of “Development of Schools Sport in Jerusalem”, a handball tournament for
girls at Burj Al-Luqluq Social Center Society.
Five Jerusalemite schools participated in the tournament; Al-Nizamiyeh High School, Al-Fatah High School, Al-Fatah A, Othman Bin Affan School and Al-Zahra Schools.
The tournament was supervised by yhte trainer Ahmad Jaberand funded y Qanadeel organization.
Al-Nizamiyeh High School won the 1st place while Al-Shameleh came second and Al-Fatah A came third.
At the end of the tournament, the winning teams received cups and medals in the presence of Burj Al-
Luqluq Executive Manager Muntaser Edkaidek, the Coordinator of the Activity Department at the Ministry
of Education, Mutaz Suuan, in addition to the Project Coordinator at the Swedish Consulate, Tala Al-Yousef, who came to Burj Al-Luqluq for a special visit and attended the tournament and participated in distributing the medals.
On his behalf, Muntaser Edkaidek assured that this sport space develops the sport education in the Ministry of Education schools, as well as completing the academic part.
