BALL Organizes Health Awareness Campaign for Children of Jerusalem

 The Burj Al-Laqlaq Society organized within the framework of the Child Protection Project in cooperation with Terre des Hommes Italia in Giordania and funded by Otto per mille valdese a health awareness

campaign for the children of Jerusalem, which targeted 120 children in the age group (13-4) years old. Campaign supervised by Sabah Nabulsi, Communication Specialist, Speech, Language, and Hearing, the health campaign included screening tests using the latest OAE audio devices, evaluating the communication capabilities of children such as: speech problems, linguistic delays, stuttering and sound problems, and

sensitizing children and their families about the importance of early detection of problems. Providing urgent treatment in case of hearing or language problems, reviewing the otolaryngologist and installing health aids for neurosensory hearing impairment, as early detection and diagnosis of hearing difficulties in children increases their chances of social development and Linguistically, emotionally and psychologically, and reduces the problems related to their learning.
